Can't suggest this place enough. Beautiful walkway, feels like a hidden gem even though there are so many people around. Went once on a Tuesday and NASA had a group with telescopes to look at the stars and planets. Also next to a bunch of galleries so makes a great night out.
Always fun to come here. Walk as much or as little as you like. It's great to see it in different seasons as there is always something new. If you go during the week it's much calmer and you avoid the crowds so way more enjoyable.
A beautiful nature walk in the city! Art on display and for sale make this spot unique. There's a beer garden and food vendors. It's a perfect walk for a group to chill together, or for a date! Definitely worth checking out
Nice view from high line, many places to stop and sit. It's recommend to going down to the street and enjoy the streets and the shops. Sometimes it's very busy here, try to come on silent times to have better time here. It doesn't matter if going from South or from North. In South, you have Chelsea Market. In North, you have the Little Spain and the Hudson Yard.
What a treasure! The High Line is a former New York Central Railroad spur that has been turned into a fabulous 1.45 mile elevated linear park. It is an extremely unique experience as you are walking ABOVE the city streets and in between the city buildings while be surrounded by flora and fauna. It was beautiful in the Fall, so I can't even imagine what it would look like in the Spring. In conclusion....JUST GO! You won't regret a minute of it.
