I absolutely love this restaurant!! Every single dish was delicious. My favorite dish was the fish soup! I was skeptical at first, but WOW!! Please don’t ever change the recipe! Delicious seafood flavor and not “fishy” at all. All octopus dishes in Portugal has been winners. They know how to do it right. The shrimps, seafood rice and Grandma stew “muah!”

This local hole in the wall is an absolute gem! I don't think I've ever eaten better food! Ever. Yes, it deserves two! The meat in the grandmother stew was so tender, the entire dish so flavorful. I'm not usually a squash person, but even that was delicious! Lúcio was a great server, very friendly. Great cozy atmosphere. I'm so glad I heeded the woman across the street's advice and tried this place. She said it was always packed at dinner (requires a reservation), so I was lucky to stumble across it for lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough. 10/5 stars!

This was our first meal in Lisbon and it was very good. Something a bit different as I have never had a cod fish stew before. The service was fantastic as well! My partner had the octopus stew, which was very good. Was actually better than mine! I would recommend it if you want some nice Portuguese food!

Fantastic meal! We came back twice and it really as good as others have mentioned. Our favorites were the octopus salad, oxtail, tuna algarve style, lamb and duck stew and the prawn and fish cataplana. Desserts were amazing: port infused pears and chocolate mouse with a wonderful crunch! Obrigada! Lovely service from our waiter from Nepal and interaction from the owner and other servers :) The white and red sangria was also lovely! Advise to book a reservation for dinner

This is the perfect Alfama restaurant. Thoughtful and attentive service combined with incredible food. The cheese + sausage plate with the pineapple jam - YUM. I also got the duck stew which was tender and flavorful. Locally sourced wines paired well with the dishes. It's also just really welcoming inside.
