Hiking into the hidden valley of Bodø. This experience will offer you a valley carved out by glaciers with numerous waterfalls and jagged mountain peak in the area.
Børvasstindane Mountains are the signature mountains of Bodø. Åselidalen -The Hidden Valley - cuts into the mountains, the two mountain ridges Åselitindan Ridge and Falkflågtindan Ridge. The valley was carved out by glaciers some hundred thousands years ago and is surrounded by jagged peaks, all above 1,000 metres. A perfect place for a hiking day trip in Northern Norway. The trip also includes a visit to Saltstraumen, the strongest tidewater current in the world.
This hiking day trip is designed for beginners and intermediates. It would be good to have some outdoor experience in walking and hiking before you arrive.
