Budapest, Nagy Diófa u. 30, 1072 Hungary
Love this place, we accidentally find this place because the one we were planning to go it’s closed. This is a very vintage look cafe with various selections of books. They have bookshelves everywhere, both new and used books, staff picked books are interesting. Also they sell some interesting notebooks, posters, postcards from artists. People working and relaxed here, it has its chill calming vibe. Do find a spot in their backyard, chill and enjoy the city.
Back when I used to live in Budapest I went here all the time. It’s such a nice place to unwind with a great coffee. The baristas are super friendly and skilled. They have a very large offer of books, there are book shelves all around you. This is probably one of my favorite cafe’s in the world, and I mean that. It’s lovely to go to with a friend but also by yourself, and the vibe here is very unique and calming. When I came back to Budapest after a year I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as good as I remembered :)
Decent little coffee shop with a cosy interior and atmosphere. The carrot cake was quite nice and the iced coffee was alright as well. Both were well priced which is great. Unfortunately, the service was really slow, which makes sense as there was just one waitress handling the whole store.
The place was welcoming, hipster-like and with nice music. The food taste was OK, however, some of the pastry portions were microscopic for the price paid for them (cheesecake was finished after 2 bites. Literally).
Cool little bookstore and cafe. Outdoor seating in the back overlooking a garden. Heard a lot of English speakers here, either ex-pats or teaching English.
