Frequented by the locals! Already tell you a lot. Amazing staff. Free foosball, Hungarian beer... Definitely recommend. They have live music from September to May.

Very cozy basement bar. The locals frequent the place, and the beers are very cheap. During winter season, the place is crowded with live music almost every night. There is rarely live music in summer, and it is much less crowded. Most bar-goers would rather sit at an outside bar. Smells like what it is. An old basement

Went there on a Sunday night with some friends not expecting much, but I can safely say now that this is my favourite place in Budapest! The music was absolutely incredible, Sunday's is open mic, and every artist blew my mind. Could have stayed until 10am if they didn't close at 2. You can see that the owner/manager is passionate about his job (he also plays guitar and sings) and the cosy, underground atmosphere fits the music perfectly. Good soundsystem, sound is amplified by the low ceilings and thick walls, gives you the impression of listening to a private concert. Drop by if you have the chance, it's worth the detour.
