Great Cretan Food. Perfect service. Very good prices. One of the best places in Chania to experience Cretan food and music. Highly recommended. Bad a great evening there!

The Cretan salad was very good with some additions not seen in the usual. Enough to share for two. Classic Cretan pies were way above average, which for Crete means they consumed even faster. A house dry white wine came from an excellent winery so it all worked. The bread is made on the premises and was irrestable with the olive oil.

Location is fantastic, right next to the sea, lovely crowd, the service was excellent and the prices more than normal. We enjoyed the starters even more than the mains and the portions were so large, we could not eat the whole dish!!! The meat was not as great as other places I've eaten, and this is the only reason I'm not putting more stars. I loved how the combine traditional with modern. The dishes are smartly composed and beautifully presented. They welcome you with a dish of vegetables and warm bread and in a very friendly manner. The live music makes you realize you are in crete and take it all in!

The best restaurant in Chania. It’s right on the Venetian Port, with live Greek music. Meat lover’s paradise. Although I don’t eat meat, I ate everything else. The Cretan salad was the best salad in the city. Homemade bread. Also very cheap if you go with group and pay the group rate. 20E per person and you est like royalty. Make reservations early to sit on the terrace.

Don't get me wrong the food is great at this restaurant found in a brilliant location... nonetheless it was a very displeasing experience due to the behaviour of the staff there. As soon as we arrived the waiter informed us that due to many reservation we could eat at a table but only for an hour since there were reservations after, we were cool about that and we said that as long as the kitchen is not late we ll have no issue. After that he basically left us hanging and went inside, we decide to sit where he told us first on our since we were no longer being served. Moreover, after our food had arrived another waiter asked us if we wanted the welcoming loaf of bread (which was found in every table alongside with olives and tomatoes as a welcoming treat) we decided to have the bread and in the end we were charged 3€ for a small loaf of bread... Also not recommended neither for vegetarians nor for vegans we struggled a lot and we could only find a small number of options...
