Really lovely idea, a safari park set in an old quarry. The animal enclosures are very spacious, and the variety of animals is excellent, and the quarry itself has some stunning features to see. Lots of cool tunnels to enjoy walking through on hot days, and an incredible underground river. Get there early or you'll never get round it all!!

A Really Fabulous Zoo! It's superbly designed with lovely, natural enclosures to enable us to see the animals at their best. I loved that there were so many platforms from which to view. Every animal looked so well cared for and the South American bird enclosure was truly fantastic. We spent ages here and were so impressed with how the birds had so much room to roam and seemed content. We had a fabulous day out to be remembered and this is a great example of a well thought out sanctuary. We definitely recommend this zoo.

This is an amazing zoo for all ages. The animals have large enclosures and the layout is very cool - both literally and figuratively since part of the zoo is tunnelled (it was built in an old quarry). Especially the aviary is breathtaking - apparently the biggest in Europe. The birds in it have a huge amount of space to fly freely and seem very happy. Tip: have the buffet lunch at the restaurant. It is really good food and you're seated right next to the giraffe enclosure! There are 4 baby giraffes this year 😍

Superb destination with kids, and not so kids. Budget a good 2-3 hours to go around, more of you love animals. We had dinner by the giraffe enclosure, a little pricey, but great location and food (buffet). Seriously, the best animal park anywhere in the world...

Lovely visit. One of the best zoos I have been to. Two levels, one underground through tunnels and one above. All set in a disused quarry. Aviary with parrots at feeding time amazing. Restaurant overlooking the giraffes super place to eat but a little pricey at €25 each for buffet so ate at the snack bar which provided baguettes/paninis/chips/burgers/ drinks. All very tasty and good value. Would definitely recommend a visit.
