This place is a regular stop every time we're in Tampere. The coffee is ok, but it's the donuts that make us come back over and over. The cafe is on the bottom floor of the observation tower (which you can climb to get a nice view of Tampere) and the cafe has seating both inside and outside. Mind you, this place is popular, and the queue to the cafe usually reaches out on the stairs outside, but the donuts are worth any wait :) Take it into account when you visit though. We'll be back! Again and again and and again.....

Excellent doughnuts and a nice atmosphere. You can climb up the observation tower to get a great view of Tampere, and even descend the outside of the tower. A bit pricey, but very worth it.

Greatest view ever! only drawback; many people mistake the exit door at the top for an entrance to a toilet.

An iconic place in Tampere. The observation tower sits on top of Pyynikki ridge, where you can see a beautiful view of the city from the top of the tower. The cafe serves one of the best donuts, or munkki in Finnish, you will find anywhere. The cafe is open year round. A very beautiful place to visit for a coffee and a walk afterwards.
