Siwa, Matrouh Governorate, Egypt
Nice view from the top, all over siwa, tickets 50 pounds
Oracle temple is the temple which the Alexander the Great once visited. There is nothing much inside but the view from here is awesome, you can see the whole Siwa.
Wow a place for virgins. Unheard of now a days. It was the place Alexander the Great reached during his campaign to conquer the Persian Empire. He arrived at the oasis, supposedly by following birds across the desert. The oracle, per Alexander's court historians alleged, confirmed him as both a divine personage and the legitimate Pharaoh of Egypt. It's in Siwa.
A very good historical place, but not that big. It have one problem that the place u buy the ticket is far from the temple. If u want to enter u have to buy tickets from gabal el mawta then go back to the temple again. The people working there are not that friendly. You should have hat or something to cover your head as it is very hot in there in the sunny days.
Ruins but impressive
