The people working here can’t be bothered to be helpful. They assume you already know the map of Croatia by heart. Also: you should know that you pay extra for luggage, in cash to the bus driver. Nobody will tell you that. They don’t take cards. Somebody please train these people in customer service or in good human interaction at least.
Very well placed near the train station & the ferry port but the organization is completely lacking, no information is given in English, and you're left trying to find your bus alone with everyone else doing the same thing running everywhere. We nearly missed our bus !
This train station needs a major overhaul. It is very unorganised and small. There are no signs indicating which bus is going where other than on the bus itself. The office area is very small. You have to pay to use the bathroom. It is extremely busy with people during high season and there is not enough space. No shade and hardly any seats for waiting.
The staff in here hate you almost as much as they seem to hate the crushing drudgery of their empty lives. Sometimes it's even looks likely that they will not answer your query at all, but after a pause they manage to muster the energy from somewhere and grunt something that vaguely answers the question. The hardest part is finding the enthusiasm to continue your day after it's been sucked out of you by their attitude. Go Croatia! ☺️👍
I have no idea how they choose people to work on selling tickets or information desk, but this kind of, lacking any other appropriate type of word, neanderthal kind of behavior is absolutely shocking to come across in a town oriented towards tourism. Absolutely appalled by the way people are treated at the ticket selling window, by a man who talks to them like they are animals. If I could, I would give zero stars. Great way to promote around the globe the service you can get in Split.
