What a great place, run by guides whose love of nature is genuine and unmistakable. From the roof-top viewing platform, the guide pointed out loads of birds, including glossy ibises, snowy egrets, stilts, cormorants, terns, spoonbills, warblers and sandpipers, telling us about them in perfect English. Telescopes and binoculars are provided, and cold drinks are available in the gift shop (very welcome on a hot day), as well as souvenirs, all at very reasonable prices, and entry is only 5 Lev per person.

It's great that they have managed to save this area from being developed into resorts. There are lots of creatures that find peace in the area, mostly birds. With some rules in place you can take a walk through the habitat, hear more about the birds that reside there or pass through and get a nice badge (proceeds go towards helping the birds). Recommended is to go early while the animals are more active.

You can check out a few types of birds by binoculars or walking a bit The fellow who explains is very nice, fluent in English, eager to answer questions
