Nassau, The Bahamas
It's a cruise port that is the same as many others. All of the shops cater to the tourists getting off the ships. There's not much, but they keep it pretty clean. Be aware, there are a ton of folks trying to sell you all kinds of tourist stuff.
This is a decent terminal. It is kept clean and they removed the high pressure sales gauntlet ( thank the cruise gods!!)
Changes were made since the last time I was here. No pressure to buy or tour guide after we entered the main street near straw market. Purchased food from Sharkeez restaurant, it was good. The terminal was clean.
Good place. We had an interesting tour. Had a really good time with our friends.
This port is very small, easy to navigate... At night it has a very carnival atmosphere. We were only walking around, and found it to be very pleasant. Senor frogs is just beside so tourists don't have to walk very far for food or drink. Its a nice place to go walking.
