70 Hotz Ave, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459, USA
The Red Bar is a longtime institution of Santa Rosa and Hwy 30A. The Red Bar is a must visit if or when you are in the vicinity.
Went x2 over my week in the area. Dinner was fantastic, eggplant and grouper were spot on. Great vibes, live music by a killer jazz band, great time.. Lunch on the other hand was entirely mediocre at best. Bowl of gumbo was maybe 4 oz, burger was meh, and an 11$ waffle was probably the highlight... Service is spotty as well. Dinner we had entrees for 10 minutes before we silverware. Lunch took 40 minutes in a less than busy room. Recommend checking it out if you get the chance if only because of the vibe and history.
Key Lime Pie is the best I've ever had. We got food to go. Eggplant was very tasty. Parking is very difficult. No one was wearing masks nor social distancing. Imagine when the FL governor + FL citizens find out about other scientific phenomena that you can't see!
I think food was great, service great. Left quickly. No mask, no social distancing. We ate outside. 🙏 I don't get sick as I have lung issues. I want everything to be normal like everyone else. Please think of others. It attacks healthy people!
Parking was gated off during our visit, and occupancy looked to be at 90% during covid 19, so we took a table outside.
