Light Me Up Beach Bonfires

I would never do business with a company that forces families out of their site on the beach. As a family we have spent over 10 years enjoying the beaches in this area. We have never experienced a more inconsiderate company. Our family was enjoying lunch at Inlet beach when Light Me Up began setting up. The employee and his girl friend acted like they didn’t even see our 5 children under 10 years old and began setting out fire pits on both sides of our site. Instead of kindly stopping to explain their permit required them to a particular area of a PUBLIC beach, they continued setting up chairs, tables, and tiki torches on top of us. When we asked if it was necessary to set up so close to our small children, the employee replied “Well, the party doesn’t even start for another 3 hours.” A couple down the beach approached the employee and expressed their horror in what they were witnessing. At that point, we moved our children down the beach without any apology or consideration to help us move. The owner, who appears to have small children of his own, arrived and approached us when we were moving all of our belongings to a safer spot down the beach. Not once did the employee or the owner ask to help us move. They were clearly more concerned about setting up in the “prime location” on the beach. Other families approached us expressing horror that a company would do such a thing. We are hopeful this company considers their priorities in the future and that consumers consider a company that values safety, manners, and common courtesy.

Would give these guys 6 stars if possible. Not just because of the level of service that they provide, but also the ability to handle themselves professionally when confronted with extremely rude PUBLIC beach goers (who aren’t even using their services!) I’ve been a beach goer for quite some time, and my hats off to these guys for dealing with the crazy nonsense that some random, non-paying, vacationers can exhibit. This company places great value in safety, manners, and common courtesy. As a family we’ve spent over 10 years enjoying the beaches in this area, and we’ve never experienced a more considerable company!

We had an amazing time thanks to Anthony and his wife! They had excellent communication through the whole booking process and I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again! We booked the Stir It Up package and arrived right at the start time and everything was perfectly setup for us. Anthony helped us setup our chairs and connect to the speaker. He stayed with us and was a perfect host making sure the fire was going strong the whole 3 hours. Our group of 14 had a great time and really enjoyed the evening. Book with them for a 5 star experience!

I loved working with Lauren and meeting Anthony upon delivery. THE BEST experience when you are coming from out of town!! They were great!! Highly recommend “Light Me up Bonfires!”” Thanks so much for making our wedding occasion extra special ... And LIT!
