My boyfriend had been wanting to try this place forever and was not disappointed with this $15 chicken breast and salad meal. It actually did taste really great. I believe this might have been the only chicken meal on the menu, it's mostly pork and some vegetarian items. Coffee there is also good.
Delicious and simple Italian cuisine that feels like you're eating a home-cooked meal. The drip coffee my friend ordered looked good, but tasted weak. I would order a stronger brew... The restaurant is tiny and quaint. There is only one server and waiter, and he seems to be the proprietor, as well. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Only negatives are it's a cash only business, and there is no restroom available, even for patrons. Be forewarned...come prepared...
Always fantastic. Lillo is a gem of a restaurant and person. Very reasonably priced. We always get the carciofi to start. Stay outside to keep you claim on tables as they come up. No reservations and no list. No alcohol, no BYOB, no bathroom (can use sushi restaurant next door).
I'm a local and it's the best Italian food I've had in my entire life. Very intimate experience and the Roman guy who runs the place does everything from scratch. Does he make the tiramisu to order every time? Yes and it's life changing. Don't come here. I want it all to myself.
Amazing pasta and great service! (Aribiatta is my favourite, spicy dish!)
