Largo Monte, 1170-107 Lisboa, Portugal
This is of the many lovely view points of the city. Not sure how I should pick up my preferred, I visited few of them and the atmosphere is always very good. Like all the others it can be crowded, not difficult to find and, as an extra, this one is actually in front of a nice church hence if you are interested in this sort of places you get two birds with one stone. The view is really very nice.
Best view of Lisbon! Prepare yourself to walk hundreds of steps on steep Lisbon hills. But once you got there, view is beautiful. Also, take your jacket with you, as it is windy at the top. Best time to visit is sunset time.
Beautiful, however crowded. There is a nice 180 degree view of the city, you could overlook the brick roofs. On the left side you can see the St. George castle. There is a pretty panoramic view made of tiles there too.
A beautiful place to view Lisbon and the surrounding area. You can buy reasonable snacks from the caravans up here. It's a steep climb up from the city or station but very worth the effort particularly because of the surrounding area which has churches, markets and more stunning views.
One of our favourite places in Lisbon. The climb has been long and, specially under the hot sun of August, tiring, but once you arrive at the top, you will be totally rewarded! Not crowded, and there is also an artist with his guitar playing relaxing music. Very romantic spot.
