Heldenplatz, 1010 Wien, Austria
The building is a tourist centre, serene and huge. Built over a century and its still looking great
Historical garden with great atmosphere in city centre including museums, a dog park, historical statues, and more. Also a good hangout place for some urban nature, sitting on the lawn, etc.
The Heldenplatz is a great place to to hang out whilst you are waiting for your friends to finish with the boring Spanish Riding School, an excellent park for a picnic and to chill for a couple of hours. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods be sure to visit, you won't be disappointed, well worth 5 stars.
PROS: historical spot | well preserved | safe CONS: immensely crowded... Try at night time (we did and was great!)
Very beautiful. It is so big, must visit in Vienna. There are some kind of tourist attraction where you are allowed to ride a "car" with horse engine. One ride is very expensive, but many people still do that. Unfortunately there were "somethings" behind in everywhere, left the bad smells :(
