As you probably know, I am a big foodie and love to try out new places to eat and drink. Here is a collection of my favorite local spots in Iceland!
Here I have curated a few awesome outdoor experiences with local tour operators that I have personally tried and loved.
I highly recommend my friends to explore both the local swimming pools in Iceland as well as venturing out into the nature to search for a fully natural hot springs - some of which are easy to find while others are remote and hidden.
These are some of my favorite hikes in Iceland ranging from short and sweet to multi-day adventures in remote nature.
Let's start with the basics. Depending on if you are optimizing for budget, convenience and speed, here is how I travel to and from KEF international airport to Reykjavik. I most often choose Airport Direct Premium as it takes me straight to my doorstep without changing shuttles at a bus terminal. I have also added a couple of great car rental companies in Iceland I have good experience with.
While some of the most popular things to do in Iceland have become mainstream and somewhat touristy, these are things I still recommend first-time visitors to check out.
